Hi, I’m RAchelle
I am a registered associate social worker (ASW 123417) under supervision, relational somatic therapist, a mother, friend, wife, an elder millennial, a person living through these trying times, and a dedicated practitioner and advocate for whole-being care and inclusive community care.
I have a passion for living, vitality, beauty, and relationships, and I find my deepest joy in nature, my family and friends, movement, and evoking reverence for all things. Continue reading here…
What to Expect
Together we will practice and study resourcing nourishment, trust, and ease for self, others, and our world.
We will also explore aspects of ourselves and experiences that we have aversion to, shame about, and strong feelings toward…
We do this work to digest, assimilate, and integrate all parts of self and society into our understanding of place, belonging, and purpose.
We will also celebrate your strengths, hopes, and dreams.

“As a white cis-gendered woman, with extensive experience in family systems and early childhood education, community organizing and training, Yoga, mindfulness, somatics, and more than fifteen years of experiential education in decolonizing from white supremacy and recovering myself from isolated individualism and loss of culture, I am aware of the detrimental impact Western culture’s demands of assimilation and acculturation have on the development of identity and belonging through the life span.
My experience in navigating community and professional organizing while advocating for and cultivating authentic relationships has provided me with a remembering of community care and building.
My work and interest in belonging focuses on the intersection of individuals and communities. My work explores healing the rupture between the two as foundational work.
This approach promotes reverent inquiry into individual and group challenges and scaffolds towards compassionate collaboration and dignified relationship building.
My time working in this way with hundreds of people has provided me with the experience and situational awareness to honor what emerges and mediate complexity with individuals, community, and agencies in inclusive, tactfully facilitated, personally responsible, somatically intelligent, culturally humble, client-centric, and strength-based ways.
If I feel out of my depth or not competent during the work, I name that. If I am called into the awareness that I am out of my depth, I honor that, listen, and do the work/practice needed to do things more care-fully the next time.
I am a trained educator, yoga instructor, somatic embodiment practitioner, craniosacral therapist, and intuitive support.
I am also a graduate with a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Cal Poly Humboldt (formerly Humboldt State University). This program focuses on Decolonizing Social Work and Indigenous and Rural Communities. ”
